Electrical Engineer

Summary
The DCG Systems Circuit Analysis (CA) group is responsible for a product line of emission microscopes for Semiconductor FA and Yield improvement. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for system level architecture, circuit design, agency certifications and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Definition and design of system level architecture
- Design of digital and analog circuits based PC boards from concept development, operational implementation through production.
- Assist in firmware development for embedded microprocessors based application boards.
- Develop and maintain design documentation, bill of material files, production documentation, etc.
Technical Skills
Required:
- Bachelors in Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
- Have a minimum of 5 years experience in electrical engineering in duties similar to those detailed above.
- Experience with embedded microprocessors is highly desirable.
- Must have experience laying out printed circuit boards.
- Demonstrated ability with electronics lab instruments and assembly tools
- Knowledge of C and skill in firmware development is a plus.
Preferred:
- Working knowledge of mechanics, optics and software is preferred.
- Experience with electro-optical systems is a plus
- Experience in working with microcontrollers.
- General working knowledge of mechanical, optical and software engineering practices.

Education/Experience
- Bachelors in electrical engineering
- 5 to 10 years experience with system and circuit board design.
